01 / application
How these terms apply
-
Acceptance by attendance or booking
By entering Poker Wardmildura, making or attending a reservation, joining a live poker session, attending a tournament poker series event, dining on site, or using private poker suites, you agree to these terms. An online reservation request is only a way to arrange an in-person visit; these terms concern the physical venue, its offline poker environments and its hospitality services. If you make a booking for companions, please ensure they understand the terms before arrival.
-
Guest responsibility
Guests must provide accurate details when requesting a booking, follow reasonable directions from venue staff, and keep personal items attended. A guest arranging a visit should communicate relevant requirements accurately and ensure invited companions are prepared to meet these conditions. These expectations support an orderly shared environment consistent with Australian hospitality and club cardroom standards, while allowing staff to assist guests with safe, considerate and practical venue access.
-
Changes to venue operations
Poker Wardmildura may reasonably adjust room access, dining availability, event timing, seating arrangements or services when operations, safety, maintenance or staff direction require it. This may affect the poker room, card lounge or executive dining experience without changing the general purpose of a confirmed visit. Guests should check current booking communications before travelling and follow any updated arrival, access or service information provided for their visit.
02 / entry
Admission, identification and venue entry
-
Strict 21+ photo ID admittance
Poker Wardmildura operates a strict 21+ photo ID admittance policy. Guests must be aged 21 or over and must present valid photo identification on request before entry or continued access to venue areas. A guest who cannot, or declines to, provide requested identification may be refused entry or asked to leave the relevant area or the venue. This requirement applies regardless of a reservation, invitation, dining arrangement, event attendance or private suite request.
-
Entry assessment and staff directions
Admission and continued access may be managed reasonably to support guest comfort, safety, capacity and event operations in line with Australian hospitality and club cardroom standards. Staff may direct a guest away from particular areas, including the card lounge, or ask a guest to leave where identification, behaviour, capacity or operational circumstances make that necessary. Guests are expected to follow those directions promptly and respectfully.
-
Dress standardDress and presentation
The dress code is Smart Formal / Dark Chic. Guests should present in a manner appropriate to an upscale poker room, private poker suites and executive dining environment. Venue staff may reasonably ask a guest to meet this standard before entry or before continued access to a particular venue area. The standard is intended to preserve a composed shared setting rather than prescribe an exhaustive list of individual garments.
03 / cardroom standards
Poker room, card lounge and event participation
-
In-person poker participation
The poker room, card lounge, championship poker felt and live dealer tables are physical venue environments. Guests taking part in offline poker or visiting poker tables must follow posted or communicated table procedures and reasonable staff instructions while present. These procedures help maintain an orderly room for all guests and may vary according to the table, scheduled session, location within the venue or operational requirements communicated at the time.
-
Respectful table conduct
Guests must act courteously and orderly toward other guests, dealers, hosts, dining staff and venue personnel. Disruptive, intimidating, abusive, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour is not acceptable in a premium shared venue environment. Where necessary for orderly operation, staff may pause or end a guest’s participation in live poker sessions, move a guest from an area, or provide a reasonable direction about executive poker hospitality and shared room conduct.
-
Tournament and scheduled event arrangements
Tournament poker series and other scheduled tournaments may have event-specific instructions about capacity, arrival expectations, seating arrangements and operational changes. Those directions are communicated by the venue for the relevant event and apply in addition to these terms where they do not conflict. Guests should review the information supplied for their scheduled event, arrive prepared to follow staff directions, and understand that operational arrangements may be adjusted reasonably to support the event and venue.
-
Restricted access and recording
Access to designated poker areas, private poker suites, staff spaces and event-controlled areas may be limited. Guests must not photograph, film, record or interfere with other guests where staff instructions, privacy expectations or venue controls require otherwise. This helps protect the comfort of guests using poker hospitality suites and other private areas. A guest should ask staff before recording within the venue if the appropriate position is unclear.
04 / hospitality arrangements
Reservations, dining and private suites
-
Reservation requests and confirmation
Reservation requests for poker tables, dining or private poker suites are subject to availability and venue confirmation. Guests should ensure that the requested date, time, party details and relevant visit requirements are accurate when making an enquiry. A request does not itself confirm availability. Please rely on the booking information provided by the venue for the arrangements that apply to your intended in-person visit.
-
Arrival, seating and venue timing
Guests should arrive in line with any confirmed booking communications. Seating, room allocation, suite access, dining service sequence and poker table placement may be adjusted reasonably for capacity and venue operations. These adjustments may be needed across the poker room, executive dining and private poker hospitality suites. Staff will manage the available spaces with regard to the confirmed visit and the wider needs of the venue at that time.
-
Dining service and guest requirements
Seasonal cuisine, artisan grill service, wines and craft cocktails are provided on site subject to venue operations, availability, responsible service obligations and staff direction. Where relevant, guests may communicate particular requests when booking, so the venue can consider them in planning the visit. A request is not a guarantee that a particular menu item, service arrangement or accommodation can be provided on the day.
-
Private suite use
Private poker suites are controlled hospitality spaces and may have guest, timing, capacity, conduct and access requirements communicated for the relevant reservation. The same age, identification, conduct and staff-direction terms apply in these areas. Guests using a suite should ensure that all members of their party understand and follow the arrangements communicated by the venue, including any reasonable directions needed to maintain privacy, comfort and orderly access.
05 / venue care
Guest property, safety and venue protection
-
Personal propertyPersonal belongings
Guests remain responsible for their own personal belongings brought to Poker Wardmildura. Please keep valuables attended and follow staff directions about items that may affect safety or venue operations. This is a practical shared-venue expectation and does not depend on whether a guest is visiting the dining areas, card lounge, poker room, an event or a private suite. If an item creates an immediate concern, staff may give a reasonable direction about it.
-
Safety and lawful behaviour
Guests must behave safely, follow reasonable emergency, security, health and operational directions, and refrain from conduct that may damage property or place others at risk. Visitors are also expected to comply with applicable Australian law while at the venue. These requirements work alongside Australian hospitality and club cardroom standards and are intended to support a calm, respectful environment for guests, staff and service providers throughout the premises.
-
Damage and venue care
Guests should take reasonable care of furnishings, poker tables, championship poker felt, dining settings, private suite fixtures and other venue property. A guest may be responsible where that guest’s deliberate or negligent actions cause loss or damage. Poker Wardmildura will address any issue reasonably and in the context of the circumstances. This clause does not set a fixed charge or replace the rights and obligations that may apply by law.
06 / communications and law
Privacy, communications and legal framework
-
Booking communications
Communications connected with reservations, event attendance, access or guest requests may be used to administer the relevant in-person visit and provide necessary operational information. If a booking matter requires clarification, guests may use [email protected] in connection with that arrangement. This clause concerns practical booking administration and does not create a separate marketing-consent arrangement.
-
Privacy and cookies
Please read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for information about website privacy and cookie practices. Those documents operate alongside these terms where relevant to the website and its use. They are provided as dedicated policy documents and should be read directly for the information they contain, rather than treated as a replacement for these venue terms.
-
Venue materials and permitted use
Site and venue materials associated with Poker Wardmildura, including written content, imagery, design elements and venue information, should not be copied, reproduced or used in a misleading way without permission, except where permitted by law. This condition is intended to protect the clarity and integrity of venue information presented to guests. It does not make a claim about rights beyond those that may apply under applicable law.
-
Australian law and severability
These terms are intended to operate subject to applicable Australian law. If a provision is found to be unenforceable, invalid or unable to operate in a particular circumstance, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Guests should read this document as a practical framework for visiting, reserving and using the relevant physical venue services.
